  I got my hair done here 2 years ago. It was a traumatic experience to say the least. I wanted them to dye my hair copper and instead I walked out with fire engine red (think elmo). I looked like a cartoon character. In fact, one of their staff actually said to me "Wow, you look like The Little Mermaid" as a compliment... It wasn't the look I was going for. I complained and I came back for them to fix it. They told me they had to use bleach in order to remove the incorrect colour they had put in my hair. I walked out with patchy copper orange and fire engine red. Not only that, they burnt my scalp so badly it blistered my skin all over my head. It was raw and itchy for a couple of weeks. They damaged my hair so badly that it started snapping off. I went to another hairdresser and they had to cut my hair very short to try to get it to a healthier state... I documented everything with photographic evidence and they gave me a full refund. Only after my emails and calls were ignored for a week, I advised Ambo Ars that I was about to go to Fair Trading and suddenly I was contacted to discuss a refund. No apology at all... Awful, awful experience.
