Saw Dr. Shivalingam a couple of weeks ago for a herniated disc causing severe sciatica.
She was rude, unprofessional and condescending.
I have seen specialists in the past and the good ones tend to be objective. When I asked Dr. Shivalingham questions about her opinions she became very defensive and refused to answer them.
Regardless of whether or not she was able to perform a surgical intervention I believe she should have dealt with things in a more professional manner.
I got a bit of 'I'm the doctor, you're the patient. I talk, you listen' from her. She seems to have a bit of a God complex.
Maybe others will have better luck with her, but beware- her interpersonal skills are sadly lacking.
